Bristol, Pennsylvania - Nosco, Inc., a full-service supplier of printed packaging for the Healthcare Industry, has expanded its On_Demand Solutions Center (ODSC) in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to address increased demand and the need for greater production capabilities. Effective June 1, 2015, Nosco has added 8,830 square feet of additional space to its existing 22,820 square feet bringing its total occupancy to 31,650 square feet. The new capacity will allow Nosco to further expand its service to the Healthcare Industry on the East Coast.
Nosco's ODSC facility is home to North America’s first HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press installation for digital folding cartons as well as HP’s latest print technology for label and flexible packaging production. The HP Indigo 30000 provides increased format size, speed, and versatility for digitally produced cartons. The response to this new technology has been outstanding with New Customers throughout the East Coast who have transitioned to this state of the art print technology for their folding carton requirements.
"The market's demand for digitally printed packaging, particularly folding cartons, continues to accelerate," said Jim Struhar, the General Manager of the ODSC facility. "This additional space provides us a footprint to put in place space for warehousing and future additional digital manufacturing capacity to meet this accelerated demand."
The ODSC helps Nosco service both new and existing customers on the East Coast more effectively by its close geographical proximity and the benefits brought forward by digital production for short to mid-range printed packaging demand requirements. This expansion has also resulted in Nosco increasing its workforce and will be expanding to a three-shift manufacturing operation later this summer.
