Business Development Specialist

About this Sales and Marketing Growth Opportunity

Nosco is looking for a high energy Business Development Specialist at our Packaging Innovation Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

As an employee owner in this position, the successful foundational candidate brings a sales and marketing career focus and is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support our Business Development team. Candidate must have a passion for connecting with others by calling, meetings at tradeshows, emailing, and social media.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts/contacts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport with contacts.
  • Prospect, as directed, within defined regions, markets and/or other segments to develop and nurture new business leads.
  • Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through sales pipeline. Contacts by whatever means necessary, primarily beginning with phone calls.
  • Set and participate in introductory appointments of qualified leads for Packaging Advisors and add Salesforce Opportunity .
  • Monitor, qualify and manage in-bound leads and transition relationships to opportunities in HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Build campaign lists using Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo and other prospecting tools.

  • High Sales DNA (will to sell).
  • Minimum high school graduate required, with further education/degree preferred or equivalent industry exposure and experience.
  • Superior phone skills and dynamic personality (excited to make calls).
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, high energy.
  • High track record of overachieving objectives.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to lead projects and influence employees and customers.
  • Ability to lead and influence employees, which includes engaging team members to gain buy-in, fostering open and truthful dialogue, treating people professionally, consistently and with respect, and establishing high expectations.
