Investment in advanced color management capabilities strengthens consistency across Nosco facilities while supporting packaging quality and customer confidence.
Nosco is pleased to announce a significant investment in its quality systems and color management capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to color accuracy, process control and continuous improvement.
As part of this investment, Nosco implemented next-generation X-Rite eXact™ 2 portable spectrophotometers across its carton, label, and flexible packaging operations, transitioning from the previous X-Rite first-generation eXact platform. The move gives Nosco access to a more advanced, connected color measurement platform designed to improve workflow efficiency and data visibility across production environments. By standardizing color measurement technology throughout the organization, Nosco is helping pharmaceutical and consumer brands achieve greater color consistency, protect brand integrity and improve confidence in packaging quality across the supply chain.
"As customer expectations for color accuracy continue to rise, consistency across products, facilities, and production runs has never been more important," said Kassi Ferrigan, Director of Quality at Nosco. "The implementation of X-Rite eXact 2 technology strengthens our ability to align color standards and deliver the consistent, reliable results our customers depend on. These advancements help customers protect brand integrity and maintain confidence in the quality of their packaging regardless of where it is produced."
The investment reflects Nosco's ongoing commitment to quality systems, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. By strengthening color measurement capabilities across its operations, Nosco is reinforcing the controls and processes that support accurate color reproduction and dependable packaging quality across every facility.
As brands place increasing emphasis on color accuracy and consistency, effective color management continues to be a growing focus across the packaging industry. The topic was recently explored during Nosco's MasterMinds 2026 packaging education event, where X-Rite Pantone color expert, Linda Hadar, shared best practices for building stronger color programs and driving greater brand consistency. Packaging professionals interested in learning more about color management, packaging innovation, and other emerging industry trends are encouraged to join Nosco at MasterMinds 2027, taking place April 26-29 in San Antonio, Texas.
