PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI – JULY 12, 2021 – Nosco, Inc., a subsidiary of Holden Industries, Inc., announced today the beginning of carton and label production at its new 175,000 square-foot Packaging Innovation Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The facility will provide redundant product capabilities that will expand Nosco’s efforts into a new era of printed packaging with continued focus on quality, innovation and growth for the healthcare industry.

In 2019, there was little to no price volatility or material disruption for the over $40 million of raw materials Nosco bought to make its end-products. Then, in late Q1 2020, COVID-19 was thrust upon the global supply chains.  

As previously announced in November of 2020, Nosco will soon open a new site in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The new facility will provide ample manufacturing space and office areas for a consolidated workforce – all while serving as the new corporate headquarters for Nosco. We will call it the Packaging Innovation Center.

Nosco recently announced that it will purchase a Karlville KS-DSUP-400 Pouching Machine for its flexible packaging operation in Carrollton, Texas. Through this investment, the company will gain the ability to control the entire manufacturing process for its flexible packaging product line from sourcing through to pouch converting. This seamlessly aligns with Nosco’s Time Matters initiatives of best-in-class service for both cycle time and on time delivery.

Expands print capacity for folded literature and Lit-a-Sure product lines to enable faster turnaround times.

GURNEE, IL ­– February 3, 2020 – Nosco, Inc., a subsidiary of Holden Industries, Inc., announced today that it has acquired the assets of Haapanen Brothers, Inc., a full-service graphic arts and printing company located in Gurnee, Illinois. Through this investment, Nosco will be better equipped to serve the needs of its expanding customer base adding:

• Expanded print capacity for folded literature and Lit-a-Sure product lines.
• A seventh site to Nosco’s growing U.S. presence for redundancy in operations.
• Specialty bindings, sales aids and other commercial marketing materials for the healthcare industry.

Enters flexible packaging market to enable secure, consistent, sustainable printing for customers  

PALO ALTO, Calif. and GURNEE, Ill., July 11, 2019 — Nosco, Inc., a subsidiary of Holden Industries, Inc., announced today it is entering the printed flexible packaging space using HP Indigo technologies. As it deepens its digital footprint in the U.S., Nosco will utilize the HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press and Pack Ready to deliver on-demand flexible packaging.
